HALLOWEEN FOOD DRIVE
 

This Halloween make a difference in the lives of people in need in our community. Sign up to participate in our first Halloween Food Drive for the Cranbrook Food Bank. Claim a street near you where you will ask your neighbours to make a food or cash donation to the Food Bank. This is a great opportunity to learn to care for others as a family and people will already be expecting guests at their door that evening. Please email Aaron with what street(s) you would like to collect food on!

Spiritual Parenting Workshop

 

Parenting is a difficult task no matter what stage of life you are in. You are invited to a two day workshop in November called Spiritual Parenting. This is for parents of children of all ages, including teens! Even if you are a grandparent who regularly cares for grandchildren you will benefit from this time. The workshop is free of charge and will take place on Saturday Nov 5th and 19th from 9:30am to 3:30pm. Please sign up today by emailing Aaron Hansen (aaronh@fbccranbrook.org).

Special Offering for Thanksgiving

Special Offering for Thanksgiving

For the next 2 Sundays we will be receiving a special offering that will go towards something Global. Our designated giving this October will go to the Canadian Baptist Ministries (CBM) crisis relief fund. If you would like more information about the CBM and this initiative, take a look at the CBM Sunday bulletin insert or click here.

As we take up our special offering for a global cause, we ask that you also remember our local Food Bank. We invite you to bring non-perishable food items for the food bank this Sunday.
