we work through The Story. A number of people have stepped forward to
lead small groups starting next week. Please take a look at the
information below. Sign up sheets will be available on Sunday. Feel free

Committing to something like this can sometimes seem daunting. But we
invite you to take a chance and be a part of a group. The hard part is
being looked after. The hosts listed above have taken the initiative by
opening their homes and committing their time. All you have to do is
sign up and show up. In the words of Woody Allen "80% of life is just
We will be starting a 31 week series on October 1st, working through the book The Story.
– The Story will be available
for you to pick up over the next 4 Sundays. See Robyn in the foyer to get your
copy! The suggested donation price for the books is $10 per copy.
One of the best ways to get the most out of "The Story" is to
engage it with others along the way. Therefore, we would like to offer
many options for small groups. Here is a list of different types of groups:
Reading groups - This would be a group that gathers to read
the chapter of the Story (preferably aloud) and then has some discussion or sharing
about the chapter.
Discussion Groups - This would be a group that gathers to watch a
short video (10 minutes approximately) and then discusses some questions
pertaining to the chapter they have read and the video.
Study groups - This would be a group that gathers to look
more in depth at either the chapter that is presented, or a specific aspect
within the chapter. There are many resources available for this even
ranging from specific men's bible study, to 31 Women of the Bible Study.
Now, the only thingwe need is leaders for these types of
groups. Could you be one of them? Please contact the office or Pastor
Kevin to sign up for leadership or ask any questions you might have. We
would like to have our leaders formalized by September 21st.
