At FBC Cranbrook it is our desire to engage with our youth in practices of spiritual formation through discipleship, relationships, Bible study and participation in church ministries.

Currently our youth ministry is geared towards youth in Grades 6 to 12.

FBC Youth Sunday School

We are excited to be starting a new curriculum with our Sunday School class. XP3 (which stands for experience three) is designed to offer youth instruction that makes them aware of the 3 most important commands of Jesus. Love God. Love your neighbour. Love your self. This is a continuation of what is used in the children's ministry as a part of the Orange strategy. Orange describes the partnership between Parents (red) and Church (yellow) to help our young people be regularly encouraged in their journey towards a strong faith in Jesus Christ.
Students Grade 6-12 will meet together every Sunday at Stephen and Lori Wik’s home (318
14th  Ave S {two houses down from the church}). We ask that students wait for the teachers in the foyer
before going over so that everyone can go together. There are a couple of Sundays where students will
be invited to stay in the service.

Dinner and a Movie

On the last Friday of each month we invite young people to come and share a meal together, enjoy
some fun games and watch a movie. This is a free event, but you must RSVP your youth to Pastor Aaron. The feature film for the month will be advertised ahead of time. Please discuss as a family if it is something that meets your standards for viewing. There will be small group discussion about the movie after each time.
