Welcome and Announcements
Hey everyone! Welcome here. I (Matt) hope that your July is off to a good start so far. Before we roll in to Aaron giving you some welcome and announcements I wanted to take a moment and let everyone know what's going on with the music and worship side of things (since that is my job after all). Near the middle of May I received the okay from the Elders board to go ahead and purchase some new equipment for the church to facilitate the recording of content for our online services (since we were using borrowed gear up to that point). All of the gear (a computer, a camera and an audio interface) arrived in early June and I've spent my time over the past month familiarizing myself with it all rather than recording new music for services. As we roll into summer it is my hope to recruit and train some individuals on this new gear, as well as diving back into recording music for our online services. Anyway, I figured you all would appreciate a little update, especially if you were wondering why there's been a lack of new music over the past month. I will say that the new gear is fantastic as it sets us up for live-streaming services in the future and basically eliminates the need for post-production which saves a TON of time. If you watched my "Making Of" video you'll know what I'm talking about. If you didn't, you can watch that here at some point if you're interested. Anyway, thank you all for bearing with us on this crazy journey, and for the support in streamlining the process in putting together these services. Thanks for reading and here's Aaron!
