COVID-19 SAFETY PLAN
FBC Safety Statement:
We are working diligently to follow all current precautions and guidelines as recommended by WorkSafeBC and BCCDC for preventing the spread of Covid-19. We want to work together with our community to protect one another, especially those in our community who are vulnerable or at risk. That is why we ask everyone who would like to attend a service or enter our building to please adhere to the following:
We ask anyone who feels sick to please stay home. Anyone can join us online on our YouTube page to stream a Sunday service if they are sick.
We ask everyone to please remain physically distanced by maintaining a distance of 2 meters at all times. Please avoid contact such as handshakes and hugging with people outside their "bubble".
We encourage everyone who enters the building to sanitize their hands upon arrival, and frequently wash or sanitize during their time here.
We have implemented a comprehensive cleaning routine that includes disinfecting all common surfaces.
Masks are now mandatory in public spaces on church premises.
Seating during worship services will be assigned and we ask that you refrain from rearranging the seating plan.
We are adhering to the limit of maximum 50 people per service or gathering. This is why is is important that people RSVP if they want to attend a service or event, which they can do by contacting the office. This also allows us to keep a record of contact.
We encourage good respiratory etiquette, for everyone to sneeze and cough into their elbow, or into a tissue and wash or sanitize their hands immediately.
PLEASE NOTE: In accordance with the current PHO mandates, FBC is not hosting in-person Worship Services and events until December 7th or until we are given further notice.
Overall, we are conducting our worship services and events in the safest way we know how. We ask that you love your neighbor by carrying out these guidelines to keep one another from harm.
